STRATEGY

Our innovation is the Survey, De-traumatisation, Rehabilitation and Reintegration (SDRR) strategy. The strategy contains four (4) compelling phase from charity to sustainability. Below is how each of the phases works:

PHASE 1- The S (Survey) we used the Ghetto Outreach Forum to identify former child soldiers (FCS), woman associated with fighting forces (WAFF) and other war affected youth (WAR) by demonstrating the 21st Century FCS,WAFF and WAY Survey in ghettos communities and other deserted areas that are characterized with high rate of crime, violence and the use of illicit substance. The Survey accesses their needs and it result takes into consideration possible recommendations from beneficiaries on what they need to impact their driven mission for positive change.

PHASE 2- The D= De-Detraumatisation phase take those who the survey had identified into the Botanical Reintegration Village (BRV) for 90 days; there the program provide them basic Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), medication and engage them into a free community service for reconciliation. This phase of the program is intended to reduce the high trauma before addressing their individual recommendation.

PHASE 3- R1=Rehabilitation, under this phase, we give them sustainable education skills, career counseling and other training opportunities with continue trauma counseling. All these training will be distributed base on the individual driven mission for change.

PHASE 4- R2=Reintegration, this is the last PHASE of the IDEFOCS SDRR strategy. It is at this stage we introduce the relevant of IDEFOCS sustainable strategy the “Post Reintegration Investment (PRI)” The PRI allows impact investors to invest, grant and loan opportunities which will support us to establish a strong profitable business foundation. The PRI was designed to provide employment opportunity through investment that will market the skill of our beneficiaries. Those marketed skills are skill beneficiaries have acquired during the rehabilitation phase of the SDRR. Their employment will help them fight against some social reintegration challenges, contribute to national development and bring in income revenue for IDEFOCS. The program also introduces social entrepreneur skill that will help those who need Micro-loan for small business. At this stage we hope to achieve a community peace and security.
